The Gift of an Unforgettable Coastal Fishing Experience

His lifelong passion for angling goes far beyond the daily routine of running a boat—it is a genuine calling rooted in a deep respect for the coastal ecosystem. Over the years, Captain Will has spent countless hours studying the subtle shifts in local tides, water temperatures, and seasonal migration patterns around Folly Island. This extensive background allows him to read the water with remarkable precision, ensuring every guest benefits from proven, time-tested local knowledge. What truly defines Captain Will’s approach on the water is his enthusiasm for sharing his craft with others. Rather than focusing solely on the catch count, he finds his greatest reward in guiding anglers of all skill levels—from young children holding a rod for the first time to experienced fishermen looking to refine their skills. Patient, approachable, and always eager to teach, Captain Will creates an inviting atmosphere where guests can relax, learn effective techniques, and build true confidence on the water. For him, a successful day means returning to the dock with great memories, new skills, and a shared appreciation for South Carolina’s rich fisheries. To consistently put guests on fish across changing conditions, Captain Will utilizes a highly versatile array of fishing disciplines. He is equally adept at light-tackle spinning, which demands finesse and precision in shallow waters, as he is with heavy-tackle bottom fishing and jigging setups for larger, hard-fighting species in deep channels. By tailoring his methods to the target species and the comfort level of his guests, he ensures an engaging, educational, and productive experience for everyone on board, regardless of their prior fishing background.
The Vessel: 25' Skeeter Bay Boat
Your time on the water is spent aboard a 25-foot Skeeter bay boat, a high-performance vessel built specifically to handle both shallow inshore creeks and choppy open waters with ease. Powered by a dependable 300HP Suzuki engine, the boat offers a smooth, quiet, and fast ride between fishing spots, maximizing your actual time lines-in-the-water. Designed with a wide, stable fishing deck and modern navigation electronics, the vessel comfortably accommodates up to four guests with plenty of room to cast, move around, and enjoy the coastal scenery.
